Our Troupes are part of our Next Step stream for our Kick Ups and Rock Saults entry level programs. Progression from Kick Ups or Rock Saults to a Troupe is based on trainer recommendation. Existing participants may also be referred to this program by trainers from other Warehouse Circus classes.
Our Next Step Troupes facilitate further development of range of circus skills including tumbling, mini trampoline, hula hooping, juggling, diabolo, staff and plate spinning, poi twirling and basic aerial trapeze and tissu, while also focusing on what it means to be a part of a circus troupe. Like all Warehouse Circus Classes, Troupe classes are based on our ‘Learn, Play, Create’ philosophy, encouraging a passion for learning new things, imaginative play and creativity in a safe and fun environment.
Each Troupe has an individual Troupe name – the tradition at Warehouse is that these names are vegetable themed! Members of Troupes tend to develop a strong group bond and a high level of trust in each other which builds confidence, self-esteem and belonging at Warehouse Circus. From this, our young Troupe artists learn to train and perform together, encourage each other, become mentors for new students and become leaders within our organisation.
