Every six months Warehouse Circus celebrates the achievements of its members through a massive showcase of most of our classes. Building on a concept we started last year, there will be in-class activities throughout week 9 surrounded by a major production for this year – High-Brow Low-Key (for more info about the major production, click on the link above).
Each entry-level class (Tiny Tucks, Half highs, Kick ups, Rock Saults) and Next Step classes under 8yr (Tiny Tanks, Two Highs) we will be holding performances and workshops as part of intimate gatherings within regular classes throughout week 9 of term (9th – 14th of December). Family and friends are invited to come along and see what circus is all about first hand.
Each group is doing this a little differently depending on their interests and age – some are creating a short group act to showcase, while others are inviting you into the class to observe or be taught something by your participant.
We are asking families attending to bring along a plate to share. There will be merchandise and other items available for purchase each day as well as some other surprises happening in and around the spaces at both Chifley and Kaleen. The idea is that participants can either arrive early or stay after class to enjoy the festivities and give everyone a chance to relax together and celebrate a fantastic year of circus with their classmates, family and friends.
The events will be running from 3:30pm until 8pm each day from Monday the 9th to Friday the 13th of December in both Kaleen and Chifley, and on Saturday the 14th from 9am to 4:30pm in Chifley.
