The Bungee Youth Resilience Program is an inclusive early intervention and preventive mental health service developed by Belconnen Community Service. Much like Warehouse Circus programs, Bungee is based on principles of active participation, socio/emotional learning and the therapeutic potential of the arts.

Bungee offers a range of arts based programs in schools and community centres in the Canberra region. Since 2010, Warehouse Circus has been delivering circus classes as a part of the Bungee Youth Resilience Program for schools and community centres who might not otherwise be able to afford targeted mental health programs.

There are two ways to get involved in a Bungee program:

1. If you are a school, you can apply to receive a semester long Bungee Circus Program. This consists of a weekly 1.5 hour class for up to 12 participants. Participants are selected by the school based on students needs keeping in mind that the program aims to build resilience, increase self-esteem, improve social cohesion and lessen anxiety. Co-facilitation by teachers or student support staff is required.

2. If you are a parent with a child experiencing anxiety, Bungee takes individual enrolments into Worry Busters at Tuggeranong Child and Family Centre. These unique classes are based on the Cool Kids Program developed by Macquarie University. While children work through the Cool Kids workbook in a fun and active way using circus activities, parents meet on a fortnightly basis and engage in the parental component of the Cool Kids program.
